I February 5, 1999 1 ORDINANCE NO. 0 -99 -11 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE IN P -1 PUBLIC LANDS DISTRICT - JAYCEE PARK WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore held a public hearing on the application of the Deerfield Park District (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ") seeking the reclassification of the properties legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto from R -1 and R -2 Single Family Districts to the P -1 Public Lands District and to authorize the development and use of said property in addition to certain real estate described on Exhibit B attached hereto and presently zoned in the P -1 Public Lands District (collectively, the "Subject Property "), as an Amendment to Special Use to permit certain improvements on the Subject Property as hereinafter described, all in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended the reclassification to the P -1 Public Lands District of the property described in Exhibit A and approval of said application for an Amendment to Special Use for the Subject Property; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the classification of the property described in Exhibit A in the P -1 Public Lands District and authorization and granting of said Amendment to Special Use for the Subject Property in accordance with the Master Plan Concept prepared by Thompson Dyke & Associates, Ltd. dated January 20, 1999 and the Floor Plans and Elevations of the proposed Shelter prepared by Williams Associates, LTD. dated January 6, 1999 and presented by Applicant and marked as Exhibit B attached hereto and made a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield included and made a part ONE: of the Village Zoning Ordinance passed April 17 1978, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying the property legally described in Exhibit A to the P -1 Public Lands District. SECTION That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby affirmatively find that the TWO: Amendment to Special Use, as hereby authorized, fully complies with the requirements and standards set forth in the applicable provisions of the Village Zoning Ordinance, and the Amendment to Special Use of the real estate, as and for the purposes of JKS 219591 . 1 February 5, 1999 ORDINANCE NO. 0 -99 -11 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE IN P -1 PUBLIC LANDS DISTRICT - JAYCEE PARK those improvements set forth on Exhibit B, be and the same is hereby authorized and approved subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth. SECTION That the approval and authorization of said Amendment to Special Use hereby THREE: granted is subject to the condition that all use, construction and development of the subject premises shall be in accordance with the Master Plan Concept prepared by Thompson Dyke & Associates, Ltd. dated January 20, 1999 the Floor Plans and Elevations of the proposed Shelter prepared by Williams Associates, LTD. dated January 6, 1999 and marked as Exhibit B, attached hereto and made a part hereof, all other documentary and exhibit filings made pursuant to the Special Use provisions of the Village Zoning Ordinance, the terms of this Ordinance, all representations by the Applicant to the Plan Commission and President and Board of Trustees, and all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION That any violation of any of the conditions hereinabove set forth shall FOUR: authorize the revocation of the Amendment to Special Use hereby authorized. SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in FIVE: pamphlet form and see to its recordation in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois at Applicant's expense. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, SIX: approval and publication as provided by law.
