AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF A
CERTAIN STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, thirty (30) feet of right -of -way of the subject property were previously dedicated to
be used for public street improvements pursuant to Ordinance No. 0- 88 -22; and
WHEREAS, the current development plans do not require the extension of Country Lane from
Fairview Avenue to Willow Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, after due
investigation and consideration, have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the
public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of a portion of Country Lane hereinafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That that portion of Country Lane in the Village of Deerfield having
ONE; heretofore been dedicated by a document recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, which portion of said street is
legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, as shown on and designated by
the words "Hereby Vacated" on the Plat hereto attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby made
a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, inasmuch as the same is no longer
required for public use and. the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
;SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the Village Clerk shall
'.TWO: file for record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the Plat hereto attached.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
THREE: passage, approval and publication as provided by law.

way; thence west along said center line a distance of 120.0 feet; thence due north
