RESOLUTION NO. R- 85 -03
RESOLUTION APPROVING INTERGOVERNMENTAL
PRE- ANNEXATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND THE ILLINOIS
STATE TOLL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield is considering the annexa-
tion of certain property to the Village of Deerfield pursuant to
a Petition for Annexation and an Annexation Agreement between the
Village of Deerfield and the Property Owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, as an element of the aforementioned.Annexation Agree -
ment the Village of Deerfield is required to enter into a certain
Intergovernmental Pre - Annexation Agreement between the Village of
Deerfield and the Illinois..State Toll Highway Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities after due and.careful con-
sideration have concluded that.the Intergovernmental Pre - Annexation
Agreement described above and in the form attached hereto.will sub -
serve the interests of the Village of Deerfield and will facilitate
the annexation of the property in accordance with the terms of the
aforementioned Annexation. Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: .
SECTION That the Intergovernmental Pre - Annexation
ONE: Agreement between the Village of Deerfield
and the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority
dated as "',of.February 4th , 1985, a copy of which is attached hereto
be and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION That the President and the Clerk of the Village
TWO of Deerfield are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said Intergovernmental Pre - Annexation
Agreement.
