AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 5 -4, entitled "Animal noises prohibited ", of Chapter 5 of the
ONE: Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and
the same is hereby further amended by deleting said Section in its entirety
and substituting in lieu thereof, the following:
"No person shall own, keep or harbor any dog, cat, or other animal
which by barking, howling, bawling or by other noises shall
disturb the peace and quiet of any family, individual or
neighborhood."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in
TWO: pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
THREE: passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
