JKS 140582 . 1 May 5, 1997 ORDINANCE NO. 0-97-18 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE INDUSTRIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PARKWAY NORTH AMENDED SIGNAGE PLAN) WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore held a public hearing on the application of Carr Parkway North 1 Corporation and CarrAmerica Realty Corporation (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Applicant "), to authorize an amendment to the previously approved Signage Plan for certain real estate described on Exhibit A hereto (the "Property ") developed as a Special Use - Planned Unit Development, under and pursuant to the provisions of Articles 6.01 -C,5, 12.01, 12.08 and 13.11 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, as amended; and WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and WHEREAS, following consideration of the recommendations of the Plan Commission, the President and Board of Trustees have considered and reviewed the Sign Plan proposal for the Property prepared by Compass Land Surveying and Mapping dated September 30, 1996, Parvin- Clauss Sign Company dated February 27, 1997 and March 25, 1997, and Whiteway Sign Co. dated February 24, 1997 and March 3, 1997 (collectively, the "Amended Sign Plan") attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit B; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have recommended further changes to the Amended Sign Plan and the Applicant has acquiesced to said changes; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the authorization and granting of an Amendment to Special Use so as to permit the signage, all in accordance with the Amended Sign Plan marked Exhibit B, attached hereto and made a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby affirmatively find that ONE: the Amendment to Special Use as hereby authorized, fully complies with the requirements and standards set forth in Articles 12.08 and 13.11 -D of the Village Zoning Ordinance, and the Amended Sign Plan as part of the Special Use of the Property, as and for the purposes of an Industrial Planned Unit Development as set forth on JKS 140582 . 1 May 5, 1997 ORDINANCE NO. 0 -97 -18 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE INDUSTRIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PARKWAY NORTH AMENDED SIGNAGE PLAN) Exhibit B be and the same is, hereby authorized and approved subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth. SECTION That the approval and authorization of said Amendment to Special Use TWO: hereby granted is subject to compliance of the Applicant with the Amended Sign Plan attached as Exhibit B and compliance with all other applicable codes and ordinances of the Village of Deerfield except as to the requested size and height of the Alliant Ground Sign and the number of internal directional signs, each of which are hereby permitted as submitted by Applicant on the Amended Sign Plan. SECTION That any violation of any of the conditions hereinabove set forth by the THREE: Applicant or its successors, grantees, transferees or assigns shall authorize the revocation of the Amendment to Special Use hereby authorized. SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in FOUR: pamphlet form and to record said Ordinance and Exhibit B known as the "Amended Sign Plan" in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois at Applicant's expense. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its FIVE: passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
