AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14 -9 OF
CHAPTER 14 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 14 -9 "Building and premises;
ONE: compliance requirements" of the Municipal Code of
the Village of Deerfield of 1975 as amended be and
the same is further amended by adding thereto Subsection c as
follows:
"No premises located in a commercial zoning district as
established by the Village Zoning Ordinance shall be
used for the conduct of any business, activity or
occupation prior to issuance of a Use Permit based upon
a submission of an application therefor to the
Department of Community Development describing the
nature of the proposed business, activity and
occupation in detail and identifying both the owner
and /or the proposed operator thereof. The Director of
Community Development shall determine compliance of the
proposed business, activity or occupation with the
applicable provisions of the Village Zoning Ordinance
and this Code. A further application shall be required
pursuant to the provisions of this Section upon any
subsequent change in use or occupancy of any such
premises."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
THREE effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
