A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO ASSESSMENTS
BY THE UNION DRAINAGE DISTRICT #1
WHEREAS, The Union Drainage District #1 is seeking to increase
the annual assessment against certain Village of Deerfield properties,
as well as to levy a one -time additional assessment for said properties;
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield filed objections with the
Union Drainage District #1, objecting to the inclusion of certain pro-
perties in these assessments; and
WHEREAS, the Union Drainage District #1 has agreed to exclude
the properties objected to by the Village of Deerfield:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
as follows:
SECTION The President is hereby authorized to execute
ONE: the agreement attached hereto and made a part
hereof, excluding certain properties under.
the control of the Village of Deerfield from the assessment rolls of
the Union Drainage District G.
SECTION The Vi lage --Clerk', i.s-!h$reby d rec:fed..to forward •:;
TWO: a copy of this'Resolution,.together with the
attached agreement, to the President of the
Union Drainage District #1.

This Agreement is made and entered by and between Union
Drainage District Number One (the "District ") and the Village of
Deerfield (the "Village ").
1. The District has filed a Petition for Authority to
Increase Annual Assessment and to Levy an Additional Assessment in
the Circuit Court of. Lake County, Illinois, which Petition remains
pending and undetermined.
2. The Village has filed an Objection to the Petition
alleging that the assessment proposed to be levied against its
lands is excessive and not supported by evidence.
3. The Commissioners of the District and the Village have

reviewed the surveys, topographic maps, photographs and other
facts and evidence produced by the Village in connection with its
Objection and agree that the property described on Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein were improperly included
in the Assessment Roll and should be and hereby are deleted.
