RESOLUTION NO. 0 -85 -16
A RESOLUTION PETITIONING FOR
NOMINATION OF AN EXECUTIVE TRUSTEE
OF THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND
WHEREAS, Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund is accepting petitions
to nominate candidates for the election of one Executive Trustee for that
organization; and
WHEREAS, GEORGE J. VALENTINE is now Chief Finance Officer of the
Village of Deerfield, having served in that position for the past
twelve years; and
WHEREAS,.George J. Valentine is a participating employee of IMRF and
has twelve years of creditable service in IMRF:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION That the Village of Deerfield hereby petitions that
ONE: George J. Valentine be-.a-.candidate for the office
of Executive Trustee of the Illinois Municipal Retirement
Fund, for a five year term, beginning January 1, 1986.
_ SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to forward a
TWO: certified copy of this Resolution to the Illinois
Municipal Retirement Office, 100 South Wacker Drive,
Chicago, Illinois, 60606, upon its passage and adoption.
