AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDED
SPECIAL USE FOR BRIARWOOD COUNTRY CLUB
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has
heretofore held a public hearing on the application of Briarwood
Country Club (herein the "Petitioner ") to authorize an amendment
to the existing Special Use of Briarwood Country Club, Deerfield,
Illinois to approve the construction of an outdoor eating
facility, locker rooms, swimming pool and other accessory uses,
all in accordance with Articles 4.01 -C,3,a and 13.11 of the
Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, as amended; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published
notice thereof and was, in all respects, held according to law;
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield
after considering and reviewing the evidenced adduced, including
the plans and specifications dated March 4, 1995, prepared by
Gelick Associates Incorporated (collectively the "Final Plan ")
attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit B said Plan
Commission made written findings of fact, including express
affirmative findings of compliance with the provisions of
Articles 4.01 -C,3,a and 13.11 of the Village Zoning Ordinance and
recommended that said Amendment to Special Use of said real
estate be approved and authorized in accordance with the plans
presented and the testimony adduced by the Petitioner at said
hearing subject to certain conditions and restrictions
hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings and recommendations of the Plan
ONE: Commission are concurred in and adopted as the
findings of the President and Board of Trustees
and the Amendment to Special Use of the real estate legally
described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, be
and the same, is hereby authorized and approved.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said
TWO: Amendment to Special Use to approve the
outdoor eating facility, locker rooms, swimming
pool and other accessory uses, all in accordance with Exhibit B
and Articles 4.01 -C,3,a and 13.11 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
