AN ORDINANCE CLARIFYING AN AMENDMENT AND RESTATEMENT
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD STORMWATER MANAGEMENT CODE
WHEREAS, the Lake County Stormwater Management Commission
amended and restated the Lake County Comprehensive Stormwater
Management Plan by ordinance adopted by the Lake County Board on
July 12, 1994 (the "Lake County Plan "); and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of
Deerfield adopted Ordinance No. 0 -94 -34 adopting the Lake County
Plan as the "Amended and Restated Village of Deerfield Stormwater
Management Code "; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield desire to clarify and restate that the Lake County
Plan was adopted by Village Ordinance No. 0 -94 -34 as the Amended
and Restated Village of Deerfield Stormwater Management Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the President and Board of Trustees in
ONE: Ordinance No. 0 -94 -34 adopted, for the purpose of
establishing stormwater management standards, the
Lake County Plan to be known as the "Amended and Restated Village
of Deerfield Stormwater Management Code," of which not less than
three copies have been and are now filed in the Office of the
Village Manager and the same was adopted and incorporated as
fully as if set out in length in Ordinance No. 0- 94 -34, and from
the date on which Ordinance No. 0 -94 -34 took effect, the
provisions of that ordinance shall be controlling within the
corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield.
SECTION That Chapter 20 of the Municipal Code of the
TWO: Village of Deerfield, as amended, be and the same
is hereby further amended by adding at the end
thereof the following:
That there is hereby adopted by the President and
Board of Trustees for the purpose of establishing
stormwater management standards, the Lake County
Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan adopted
by ordinance of the Lake County Board on July 12,
1994, which plan shall be known as the "Amended
and Restated Village of Deerfield Stormwater
Management Code," of which not less than three
copies have been and are now filed in the Office
of the Village Manager and the same are hereby
adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out in
length herein, and from the date on which this
ordinance shall take effect, the provisions hereof

AN ORDINANCE CLARIFYING AN AMENDMENT AND RESTATEMENT
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD STORMWATER MANAGEMENT CODE
shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the
Village of Deerfield.
SECTION That except as modified herein, Ordinance No.
THREE: 0 -94 -34 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
FOUR: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
