Dated this December 9. 1992 Mw'I's 0110 , 'i ,Ill. • V • D. • Village Clerk puf004 /13 -3 /23788 /saturn 11/10/92 - 1320 ORDINANCE NO. 0 -92 -55 ORDINANCE DESIGNATING A TAX INCREMENT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield, Illinois desires to implement tax increment allocation financing pursuant to the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, as amended, constituting Division 74.4 of Article 11 of the Illinois Municipal Code (here- inafter referred to as the "Act ") for the Redevelopment Plan and Redevelopment Project heretofore approved and adopted pursuant to an ordinance adopted by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village on December 7, 1992, and entitled: "Ordinance Adopting and Approving a Tax Increment Redevelopment Plan and a Tax Incre- ment Redevelopment Project for the Village of Deerfield, Illinois" (the "Redevelopment Ordinance "); and WHEREAS, by virtue of the adoption of the Redevelopment Ordinance, the Village has amended its redevelopment plan adopted on December 15, 1986, to alter the exterior boundaries of the re- development project area as permitted by Section 11- 74.4 -5 of the Act; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary and desirable to designate the area referred to in said Redevelopment Plan as a Redevelopment Project Area as provided in the Act; and WHEREAS, the area described in Exhibit A of this ordi- nance constitutes, in the aggregate, more than 1 -1/2 acres and has been determined to include a "conservation area" within the mean- ing of Section 11= 74.4 73(b) of the Act. 3258536 A NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The area described in Exhibit A of this or- dinance is hereby designated as a Redevelopment Project Area pur- suant to Section 11- 74.4 -4 of the Act. Section 2. The Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to publish this ordinance in pamphlet form and to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the County Clerk of Lake County. Section 3.
