AN ORDINANCE NAMING GORDON TERRACE
WHEREAS, there is a portion of a certain dedicated public
street presently within the Village of Deerfield, commonly
referred to as Gordon Avenue between Forestway Drive and Willow
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of Deerfield in
accordance with the Ordinances thereof and the statutes of the
State of Illinois desire to rename said portion of public street
Gordon Terrace.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That said dedicated public street previously
ONE: known as a portion of Gordon Avenue between
Forestway Drive and Willow Avenue and hereinabove
described be and the same is hereby designated and renamed
Gordon Terrace.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
THREE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
