AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 22 -165 AND 22 -166 OF
ARTICLE 21 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22 -165 of Article 21 of Chapter 22 of the
ONE: Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975,
entitled "Exhibit E. No parking or standing places. ",
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to the
list of locations where parking and standing is prohibited, the
following:
"On the west side of Pine Street between Hackberry Road
to the south and a point 400 feet north of the
intersection of Pine Street and Hackberry Road to the
north."
"On both sides of Hackberry Road between Pine Street to
the west and a point 100 feet east of the intersection
of Pine Street and Hackberry Road to the east."
SECTION That Section 22 -166 of Article 21 of Chapter 22 of the
TWO: Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975,
entitled "Exhibit F. Time Limit on Parking. ", as
amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to the
list of locations where the parking of vehicles is prohibited during
certain hours, the following:
"On both sides of Waverly Street between Osterman
Avenue to the north and Central Avenue to the south and
both sides of Central Avenue between Waverly Street to
the west and a point 200 feet east of the intersection
of Central Avenue and Waverly Street to the east
between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon except
on Saturdays, Sundays and Village holidays."
"On both sides of North Avenue between Waukegan Road to
the west and Portage Pass on the east between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on school days."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
THREE: this ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its publication, as provided by law.
