ORDINANCE NO. 0 -91 -25
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 6 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has
heretofore held a public hearing on the application of Draper and
Kramer, Incorporated and State Farm Insurance Company
(hereinafter collectively referred to as "Applicant ") to consider
a certain text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to permit an
automobile claims facility as a Special Use pursuant to an
Industrial Planned Unit Development within the I -1 Office,
Research, Restricted Industrial District; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published
notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield,
after considering the evidence adduced, made written findings of
fact in favor of the proposed text amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield have accepted the recommendations -of the Plan
Commission and have determined that the proposed text amendment
will serve the best interests of the Village of Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article 6.01 -C of the Zoning Ordinance of
ONE: the Village of Deerfield, as amended, be and the
same is further amended by adding thereto as an
additional subsection 13 as follows:
"13. AUTOMOBILE CLAIMS FACILITY IF INCLUDED IN AN
INDUSTRIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT"
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
THREE: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
