AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 5 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article 5 of Chapter 22 of the Municipal
ONE: Code of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by adding thereto
Section 22 -22.A as follows:
"Sec. 22 -22.A. Disregard of Safety of Others and
Property. No person shall operate any vehicle in
a manner which disregards the safety of others or
property. Any person who violates this section
may be issued a Compliance Ticket pursuant to
Section 1 -25 of Chapter 1 of this Code. In
addition to payment of the Compliance Ticket, said
offender shall be required to participate in the
Village 'Risky Driver Education Program'."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
THREE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
