ORDINANCE NO. 2024- 0-24-19
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE 2024 ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, the Village is a home rule municipal corporation in accordance with
Article VII, Section 6(a) of the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.02 of the Deerfield Zoning Ordinances ("Zoning Ordinance')
incorporates by reference the Zoning District Map of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook
Counties, Illinois ("Zoning District Map' which may be amended from time to time; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.02-D, the Zoning District Map, certified as being
inclusive of all amendments, must be published annually and made available for sale in the
Office of the Village Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning District Map was last adopted by motion of the Village Board
on March 21, 2022, and has since been amended; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board finds that it is necessary to publish an updated 2024
Zoning District Map, inclusive of all amendments to date; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it will serve and be in the best
interest of the Village to publish the annual Zoning District Map pursuant to this Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF
DEERFIELD, LANE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION ONE: RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are incorporated into, and
made a part of, this Ordinance as findings of the Village Board.
SECTION TWO: 2024 ZONING DISTRICT MAP. The 2024 Zoning District
Map, attached herein as Exhibit A, is hereby approved for publication.
SECTION THREE: PUBLICATION. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Illinois.
SECTION FOUR: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance will be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
