AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 3 -8, entitled "Classes of Licenses ",
ONE: of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield
Of 1975, as amended, be and the same is hereby
further amended by adding the following class of license
thereto:
"Class D -2 which shall authorize the retail
sale of alcoholic liquor by the drink in a private
dining facility in office buildings located in areas
included in the I -1 Office, Research, Restricted
Industrial District pursuant to the Village of
Deerfield Zoning Ordinance with and incidental to
the preparation and service of meals to tenants of
the licensed premises and their invited guests. The
licensed premises shall not include a lounge area."
SECTION That Section 3 -8A, entitled "Fees:, of the Municipal
TWO: Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975 as amended,
be and the same is hereby further amended by adding
the following thereto:
"Class D -2 $2,000.00"
SECTION That Section 3 -9, entitled "Number of Licenses ", of
THREE: the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of
1975 as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by adding the following thereto:
"Class D -2 1"

SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
FOUR: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
