AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PORTIONS OF ARTICLE 6 of
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has
heretofore held a public hearing on the application of North
Shore Auto Parts, Inc. and G. S. Boatright (collectively, the
"Applicant ") to consider a text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Deerfield relative to including a dog grooming
parlor as a special use in the 1 -2 Limited Industrial District;
and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published
notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield,
after considering the evidence adduced, made written findings of
fact and recommended a text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Deerfield to achieve the objectives sought by the
Applicant; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield have determined that the recommendation of the Plan
Commission will serve the best interests of the Village of
Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article 6 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
ONE: Village of Deerfield, as amended, be and the same
is further amended by adding Section 6.2 -3,4,c as
follows:
"C. Dog Grooming Parlor. Provided that said
establishment does not exceed a maximum size of
1,000 square feet, is located in the Village
Center and provides one parking place for each 200
feet of gross floor area."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to

SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
