ORDINANCE NO. 0 -88 -62
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 6 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has
heretofore held a public hearing on the application of Hyatt
Development Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ") to
consider a certain text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to permit
dancing in the banquet, restaurant, lounge and meeting room areas of
the Hotel as an accessory use to a hotel use upon the Subject
Property as a Special Use pursuant to an Industrial Planned Unit
Development within the I -1 Office, Research, Restricted Industrial
District; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice
thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after
considering the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact
opposed to the proposed text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustes of the Village of
Deerfield have not accepted the recommendations of the Plan
Commission and have determined that the proposed text amendment will
serve the best interests of the Village of Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article 6.1 -5,7 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
ONE: Village of Deerfield, as amended, be and the same is
further amended by adding thereto as an additional
Accessory Use subsection j as follows:
"j. Public Dancing in banquet, restaurant, lounge and
meeting room areas."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
TWO: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
THREE: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.

SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
