AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 -23 OF CHAPTER 3 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 3 -23 entitled "Purchase or acceptance of
ONE: gift of liquor by person of non -age; identification
cards; exception; (renting of lodging for alcohol
consumption)" of Chapter 3 of the Municipal Code of the Village of
Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is further amended by
amending the title of said section to "Purchase or acceptance of
gift of liquor by person of non -age; identification cards;
exception; (renting of lodging for alcohol consumption)" and by
adding subsection (g) thereto as follows:
"(g) No person shall rent a hotel or motel room
from the proprietor or agent thereof where such
room shall be used for the consumption of alcbhblic
liquor by persons under the age of 21 years.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
TWO: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
THREE: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
