AN ORDIANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 22 -162, 22 -45, 22 -164,
22 -165, 22 -166 AND 22 -70 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22 -162 entitled "Exhibit B. One Way
ONE Streets Or Alleys" of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code
of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is
further amended by deleting from the designated list of one way
streets or alleys the following:
"NORTHBOUND
Park Avenue between Deerfield Road and Hazel Avenue."
and said Section 22 -162 is further amended by adding to the
list of designated one way streets and alleys the
following:
"NORTHBOUND
Park Avenue between Deerfield Road and Jewett Park
Drive."
SECTION That Section 22 -45 entitled "No Left Turn" of Chapter
TWO 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975, as
amended, be and the same is further amended by adding
thereto the following:
"(g) It shall be unlawful for vehicles westbound on Jewett
Park Drive to turn left on Park Avenue."
SECTION That Section 22 -164 entitled "Exhibit D. Stop Street
THREE Intersections" of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of
Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is
further amended by adding to the list of designated stop streets
the following:
"Park Avenue at Jewett Park Drive
Robert York Avenue at Jewett Park Drive
Hoffman Lane at Robert York Avenue (Southbound)"
SECTION That Section 22 -165 entitled "Exhibit E. No parking or
FOUR or standing places" of Chapter 22 of the Municipal
Code of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same
is further amended by adding to the list of designated locations
where standing and parking of vehicles is prohibited the
following:
"On Robert York Avenue - both sides between Deerfield
Road and Hoffman Lane."

AN ORDNANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 22 -162, 22 -45, 22 -164,
22 -165, 22 -166 AND 22 -70 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
SECTION That Section 22 -166 entitled "Exhibit F. Time Limit on
FIVE Parking" of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of
Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is
further amended by deleting from the list of designated
locations where standing and parking of vehicles is limited the
following:
"Park Avenue - on the east side for a distance of six
hundred feet (600') from the northeast intersection
with Deerfield Road, between the hours of 8:00 A.M.
and 6:00 P.M., except on Sundays and holidays -
parking limited to thirty (30) minutes."
and said Section 22 -166 is further amended by adding to the
list of designated locations where standing and parking of
vehicles is limited the following:
"Park Avenue - on the west side of Park Avenue between
Deerfield Road and Jewett Park Drive, between the
hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., except on Sundays
and holidays - parking is limited to thirty (30)
minutes."
SECTION That Section 22 -70 entitled "Loading zones, cab and
SIX bus stands" of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of
Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is
further amended by adding to the list of locations designated as
bus stands the.following:
"(5) The sixty -four feet (64') along the east curb of Park
Avenue beginning at a point approximately one hundred
ten feet (110') north of the center line of Deerfield
Road as measured along the center line of Park Avenue.
(6) The sixty feet (60') along the east curb of Park
Avenue beginning at a point approximately eighty feet
(80') north of the center line of Jewett Park Drive as
measured along the center line of Park Avenue."
SECTION That the Village Manager shall post or cause to be
SEVEN posted the appropriate signs as designated in Sections
One, Two, Three, Four, Five and Six hereof.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
EIGHT conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
NINE this Ordinance in pamphlet form.

OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
TEN from and after its passage, approval and publication,
as provided by law.
