ORDINANCE NO. 0 -89 -12
AN ORDINANCE NAMING POPLAR LANE
WHEREAS, there is a certain dedicated public street
presently within the Village of Deerfield, commonly referred
to as Franken Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of Deerfield in accordance
with the Ordinances thereof and the statutes of the State of
Illinois desire to rename said public street Poplar Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That said dedicated public street previously
ONE: known as Franken Avenue and hereinabove described
be and the same is hereby designated and renamed
POPLAR LANE.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force
THREE: and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication, as provided by law.
