AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 22 -129, 22 -129A AND
22 -130 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22 -129 entitled "Definitions" of Chapter
ONE 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975, as
amended, be and the same is further amended by
deleting from the designated list of Village Parking Lots those
lots numbered one (1) through fourteen (14) in their entirety
and substituting in lieu thereof, the following:
"(1) Lot No. 1 - Located to the rear of the Village
Hall
(2) Lot No. 2 - Located on the northwest corner of
Rosemary Terrace and Deerfield Road
(3) Lot No. 3 - Located on the north side of the
Village Library.
(4) Lot No. 4 - Located north of Deerfield Road east
of the Illinois Bell Telephone property and south of Jewett Park
Drive.
(5) Lot No. 5 - Located on the east and west sides of
Robert York Avenue north of Deerfield Road and south of Jewett
Park Drive.
(6) Lot No. 6 - Located on the southeast corner of
Jewett Park Drive and Park Avenue.
(7) Lot No. 7 - Located on the east side of Park
Avenue north of Jewett Park Drive and south of Hazel Avenue.
(8) Lot No. 8 - Located on the west side of Park
Avenue north of Jewett Park Drive and south of Hazel Avenue.
(9) Lot No. 9 - Located on the east side of Elm Street
north of Central Avenue and south of Osterman Avenue.
(10) Lot No. 10 - Located on the east side of Elm
Street north of Osterman Avenue and south of Sunset Court.
(11) Lot No. 11 - Located on the south side of
Deerfield Road west of the right of way of the Chicago,
Milwaukee, St.Paul & Pacific Railroad and north of Sunset Court.
(12) Lot No. 12 - Located on the circular drive area
lying directly west of the Milwaukee Road Railroad Depot.
(13) Lot No. 13 - Located north of Lot #12 west of the
railroad tracks, east of Chestnut Street and south of Lot #14.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 22 -129, 22 -129A AND
22 -130 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD OF 1975
(14) Lot No. 14 - Located on the east side of Chestnut
Street south of Hazel Avenue and north of the entrance driveway
to Lot #13.
(15) Lot No. 15 - Located on the east side of Chestnut
Street north of Greenwood Avenue and south of Davis Avenue."
SECTION That Section 22 -129A entitled "Parking Fees" of
TWO Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975,
as amended, be and the same is further amended by
deleting Section 22- 129A(b) in its entirety and substituting
in lieu thereof, the following:
"(b) In addition to those penalty provisions prescribed in
Section 22 -158 of this Article, any person violating any
provisions of this Section may have his vehicle immobilized as
provided in Section 22- 74(b); or towed away from any of the
Village Parking Lots, impounded by the Village and shall
thereafter be assessed an impounding charge of not less than
thirty dollars..:($30.00) nor more than sixty dollars ($60.00) and
a storage cost of five dollars ($5.00) per day or fraction
thereof for each day the vehicle is impounded."
SECTION That Section 22 -130 entitled "Parking Hours" of
THREE Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975,
as amended, be and the same is further amended by
deleting Sections 22- 130(b), 22- 130(c) and 22- 130(d) in their
entirety and substituting in lieu thereof, the following:
"(b) No vehicle shall be parked in any Villace Parkina Lot
listed in Section 22 -129, between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and
6:00 A.M., except for vehicles whose operators have been given
permission to do so by the Police Department or Village Manager.
(c) No vehicle shall be parked in Lot 1 or Lot 3, or along
Jewett Park Drive from Waukegan Road to the entrance driveway of
Lot 1, on days other than Saturday, Sunday or Village holidays
for a period in excess of three (3) hours between the hours of
8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., except for vehicles operated by
employees of the Village of Deerfield, the Village of Deerfield
Library and West Deerfield Township. Said employees shall be
issued appropriate stickers by the Village Manager.
(d) No vehicle shall be parked in Lot 4 for a period in
excess of three (3) hours."
SECTION That the Village Manager shall post or cause to be
FOUR posted the appropriate signs as designated in Section
Three hereof.

SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
FIVE conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed, specifically including any conflict
between the numerical designations of the Village Parking Lots
contained in Section One hereof and other Village Parking Lot
designations contained in other provisions of the Municpal Code
in which case Section One hereof shall govern.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
