AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 1 OF CHAPTER 15 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE-IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article 1 of Chapter 15 of the Municipal Code
ONE: of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be
and the same is hereby further amended by adding
thereto the following Section 15 -2A:
Section 15 -2A. Reckless Conduct Prohibited.
(a) A person who causes bodily harm to or
endangers the bodily safety of an individual
by any means, commits reckless conduct if he
performs recklessly the acts which cause the harm
or endanger safety, whether they otherwise are
lawful or unlawful.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
TWO: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage, approval and publication,
. as provided by law.
