AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A
CERTAIN STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield after due investigation and consideration, have determined
that the nature and extent of the public use and the public interest
to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of a portion of
Hawthorne Lane hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That that portion of a public street in the Village
ONE: of Deerfield having heretofore been dedicated by a
document recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, which portion of said street is
legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and as shown on and
designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the Plat hereto
attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of
this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed,
inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the
public interest will be subserved by such vacation.]
SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the
TWO: Village Clerk shall file for record in the Office of
the Records of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, a
certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the Plat of Vacation
hereto attached as Exhibit A.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
THREE: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
