ORDINANCE NO. 0 -87 -05
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND
TO THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield desires to annex a contiguous,
uninhabited, unincorporated territory to the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said territory is owned by the Village of Deerfield and
the People of the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation,
Division of Water Resources ( "IDOT "); and
WHEREAS, the written consent of the Governor of the State of
Illinois regarding the said annexation has been obtained by the Village
of Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That all the territory described on Exhibit "A"
ONE: attached hereto and made a part hereof and as shown on
an accurate map of such territory which is attached
hereto .and made a part of hereof as Exhibit "B ", be and the same is
hereby annexed to the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties,
Illinois.
SECTION That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield is
TWO: hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, being the County in
which said territory is situated, a copy of this Ordinance, together
with an accurate map of the territory hereby annexed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage and approval and when a copy
thereof with an accurate map is recorded in the office
of the Recorder of Deeds, Cook County, Illinois, and thereupon said
territory shall be subject to the jurisdiction and ordinances of the
Village of Deerfield, Illinois.
AYES: Marovitz, Marty, Seidman, York (4)
NAYS: None (0)
ABSENT: Rosenthal, Swanson (2)
