R-81-14I 1` RESOLUTION NO. R -81 -14 WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield, on February 16, 1981, did adopt Resolution No. 0 -81 -02 declaring a moratorium on acceptance of petitions seeking map amendments and zoning variations for properties lying within an area more particularly described in said Resolution (the "moratorium area "); and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, on August 3, 1981, passed Resolution No. R -81 -10 extending said moratorium for an additional sixty day period; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, on October 5, 1981, passed Resolution No. R -81 -13 extending said moratorium until December 7, 1981; and WHEREAS, the declared purpose of said moratorium was to enable the Village of Deerfield to consider zoning methods and developmental standards appropriate to facilitate the development of the moratorium area in conformity with the goals of the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield and the Village staff are conducting hearings directed toward developing final recommendations with respect to such matters for consideration by the Board of Trustees: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the moratorium on the acceptance of petitions ONE: seeking map amendments and. /or zoning variations for properties lying within the.moratorium area depicted in Resolution No. 0 -81 -02 shall be extended until February 16, 1981. SECTION That except to the extent modified hereby, Resolution TWO: No. 0 -81 -02 shall remain in full force and effect according to its terms.
