AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE DISCONNECTION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT TELEGRAPH ROAD AND
NORTH AVENUE FROM THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND FOR
ITS ANNEXATION TO THE VILLAGE OF BANNOCKBURN, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there has been filed with this Board a written petition,
signed by Mr. B. William Zawadski, the owner of a certain parcel of
land of less than 160 acres in the area situated within the Village
of Deerfield, Illinois, and contiguous to the Village of Bannockburn,
Illinois, and described as follows:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 20, Township 43 North,-Range 12,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, Village of
Bannockburn, Lake County, Illinois, which lies westerly
of the westerly right of way line of the Chicago,
Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad and easterly
of the center line of Telegraph Road and also that
part of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
of Section 20, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, Village of Deerfield,
Lake County, Illinois, which lies westerly of the
westerly right of way line of the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad and Easterly of the
center line of Telegraph Road,
which petition requests that pursuant to Section 7 -1 -24 of the
Illinois Municipal Code (Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes 1983),
said land be disconnected from the Village of Deerfield and annexed
to the Village of Bannockburn, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, an accurate map of the above - described property is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That pursuant to the provisions of Section 7 -1 -24 of
ONE: the Illinois Municipal Code (Chapter 24, Illinois
Revised Statutes 1983), the consent of the corporate
authorities of the Village of Deerfield is hereby given to the dis-
connection of the above - described land from the Village of Deerfield
and its annexation to the Village of Bannockburn, Illinois; said
disconnection shall take effect upon the passage and timely recording
of an Ordinance of Annexation by the Village of Bannockburn,
Illinois, in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, as provided by law.

SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
TWO: directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance
to the Corporate Authorities of the Village of
Bannockburn, Illinois.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage and approval as provided by
law.
