AN ORDINANCE NAMING TENNAQUA LANE
WHEREAS, a certain dedicated public street presently within the
Village of Deerfield, namely that certain street extending South
from Deerfield Road to its termination at the entrance to the
Tennaqua Bath & Tennis Club has previously been named "Louisa Lane"
prior to its annexation to the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village in accordance
with the Ordinances thereof and the statutes of the State of Illinois
desire to rename said Louisa Lane; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property located thereon have duly
petitioned the Corporate Authorities to rename said street Tennaqua
Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That said dedicated public street hereinabove described
ONE: be and the same is hereby designated and named
" TENNAQUA LANE ".
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
TWO: from and after its passage and approval, as provided
by law.
