RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a vacancy presently exists in the office of the Village Clerk of
the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 24, Section 3 -5 -9, Illinois Revised Statutes provides
that from the time said vacancy occurs until a Clerk is elected and has
qualified, a vacancy may be filled by the appointment of an Acting Clerk by
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
have deemed it advisable to fill said vacancy,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Naomi S. Clampitt be and is hereby appointed Acting Clerk
ONE: of the Village of Deerfield to serve the remainder of the term
of the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield and until a
successor shall have been either elected or appointed and has qualified for
office.
