ORDINANCE NO. 0 -85-02 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 -129A OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That Section 22 -129A entitled "Parking fees" of Chapter ONE: 22 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is further amended by deleting such section (a) thereof in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "Sec. 22 -129A. Parking fees. (a) No vehicle may be parked in any of lots 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13 without paying the parking fees established therefor, nor may any vehicle be parked in any restricted portions of said lot(s) in contravention of any posted limitations relating to types of permitted vehicles. Parking in lots 7 and 8 shall be limited to residents of the Village as evidenced by display of a current Village of Deerfield vehicle license. The parking fee for parking in lots 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13 shall be fifty cents ($0.50) for each twenty -four (24) hour period, and in lots 6, 9 and 10 the parking fee shall be thirty -five dollars ($35.00) for Deerfield residents and forty -five dollars ($45.00) for non - Deerfield residents, payable in advance, for each three (3) month period. Permits to park in lots 6, 9 and 10 shall be issued on a first - come first - served basis to residents of Deerfield and in the event all applications by Deerfield residents have been satisfied then thereafter to non - Deerfield residents on a first -come first - served basis. The corporate authorities may from time to time reserve a portion of lot 9 for lease at the rentals provided herein to operators of businesses located within the Village Center." SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish TWO: this Ordinance in pamphlet form. a. SECTION That as to the fees and restrictions concerning Lots THREE: 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on February 1, 1985 and as to Lots 6, 9 and 10, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on April 1, 1985 and in each case, from and after passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
