AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 -76A OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22776A "Limitations on parking in areas
ONE: designated 'Handicapped Parking"' of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended,
be and the same is' further amended by adding a new subsection (d)
thereto as follows:
"(d) All signs designating specified parking
spaces as 'Handicapped Parking' shall be in
conformity with the standards established by
Chapter 95 -1/2, Section 11 -301, Illinois Revised
Statutes and any additional requirements as to
location and height as may be established by the
Police Department of the Village of Deerfield.
In the event that multiple spaces in any parking
area are reserved for 'Handicapped Parking', one
sign ,identifying the spaces as reserved for
'Handicapped Parking' shall be provided for each
group of three parking spaces or portions thereof
so reserved."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
