AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD WAGE AND SALARY PLAN
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has submitted a proposal for a
Career Development Program within the Police Department of the Village of
Deerfield, which Plan has received the approval of the President and
Board of Trustees as being in furtherance of the Village's desire to
recognize merit and enhance career opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of said Plan requires a further
amendment to the Village of Deerfield Wage and Salary Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Ordinance No. 0 -83 -10 be and the same is hereby
ONE: amended by adding the following to the end of Section
Four thereof:
"That that portion of the Village of Deerfield
Wage and Salary Plan relating to the Police
Department is hereby further amended in the
manner provided in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
TWO: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
THREE: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
