AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL USE FOR A
CABLE ACCESS STUDIO AT SHEPARD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has
heretofore held a public hearing on the application of the BOARD OF
EDUCATION OF SCHOOL DISTRICT 109 to authorize the use or occupancy
of a portion of Shepard Junior High School, Deerfield, Illinois, for
a cable access studio to be operated by Capital Cities Cable Corp.
under and pursuant to the provisions of Articles 7.2, 13:11 and 13.12 of
the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and-
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to a duly published
notice thereof and was in all respects_ held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after
considering the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact and
recommended that said special use of a portion of said real estate
be approved and authorized subject to certain conditions and
restrictions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD. LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings and recommendations of the Plan
ONE: Commission are concurred in and adopted as the findings
of the President and Board of Trustees and the special
use of a portion of the real estate legally described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and made a .part hereof, for a cable access studio to
be operated by Capital Cities Cable Corp., be and the same is hereby
authorized and approved.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said special use

use shall be in accordance with all representations
submitted and made by Applicant to the Plan Commission and President
and Board of Trustees and is also subject to compliance by Applicant
with all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.

this Ordinance shall
be recorded in
the Office
of the
Recorder of
Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, and all
