AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 -6 OF ARTICLE 1 OF CHAPTER 6
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 6 -6 entitled "Fees." of Article 1 of Chapter 6 of
ONE: the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as
amended, be and the same is further amended by deleting sub-
section F in its entirety and subtituting in lieu thereof the following:
"F. The fee for the initial certification of every
passenger elevator, freight and hand elevator, power
operated dumbwaiter, moving stairway or similar hoist-
ing device shall be,$30._00, and the fee for a temporary
use permit for such a device shall be C$30:00
The fees for semi - annual inspection, testing and
certification of existing power passenger elevators,
freight and hand elevators, power operated dumbwaiters,
moving stairways and similar hoisting devices shall be
$ 3,0.00
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
THREE: are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
