ORDINANCE NO. 0 -83 -03
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN
ALLEY IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield,
upon the petition of MR. AND MRS. FEJES and the recommendation of the Plan Com-
mission of the Village of Deerfield, and after due investigation and consideration,
have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the public interest
to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of portions of the alley herein-
after described:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That a public alley in the Village of Deerfield, having hereto -
ONE: fore been dedicated by a document recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, which portion of
said alley is legally described as follows:
That portion of the public alley falling in Section 29, Township
43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian in the
Village of Deerfield, Illinois, and described as follows: The
Easterly 12 feet of the public alley in Block 2 in Truesdell's
Addition to Deerfield, recorded September 11, 1874, in the Recorder's
Office of Lake County, Illinois, and lying Westerly of the West line
of Lot 1 in Block 2 and Southerly of the North line of Lot 1 extended
West and Northerly of the South line of Lot 1 extended West in said
Truesdell's Addition to Deerfield, all in Lake County, Illinois.
as shown on and designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the Plat hereto
attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of this
Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, inasmuch as the same
is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved
by such vacation.
SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the Village

Ordinance, together with the Plat hereto attached.
