AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 -37 OF CHAPTER 7
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 7 -37 of Chapter 7 of the Municipal Code of Deer -
ONE: field of 1975, as amended, entitled "Registration required" be
and the same is hereby further amended by adding thereto subsec-
tion (c) as follows:
"(c) Applicants for registration shall be required to
receive a passing grade in a written test administered
by the Director of Building and Zoning based upon the
National Electric Code previously adopted by the
Village of Deerfield by reference."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
THREE: are, to the extent of such conflicts, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
