AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 11, SECTION 2 -152, CHAPTER 2
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article 11, Section 2 -152 of Chapter 2 of the Municipal
ONE: Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, entitled
"Jurisdiction of Board of Zoning Appeals ", be and the same is
further amended by repealing said.Article 11, Section 2 -152 in its - entirety.
SECTION That the following Section 2 -152 is hereby substituted in lieu
TWO: thereof as follows:
"Section 2 -152. Jurisdiction of Board of Zoning Appeals.
(a) The Board of Zoning Appeals shall:
(1) Hear and make recommendations as to appeals
from, and review any order, requirement, decision, or
determination, made by the administrative official charged
with the enforcement of the Village Zoning Ordinance;
(2) Hear all applications for variations to the pro-
visions of the Zoning Ordinance and shall submit to the
Village Board its recommendations accompanied by findings
of fact specifying the reason or reasons therefor;
(3) Hear and make recommendations as to all matters
referred to it of upon which it is required to pass under
the terms of. this Division or the Village Zoning Ordinance.
(b) The concurring vote of four (4) members of the board
shall be necessary to recommend reversal of any order, re-
quirement, decision, or determination of the officer from
whom an appeal is taken or to decide in favor of the
applicant any matter upon which'it is required to pass under
this Division, or to recommend any variation or modification
in the Division to the corporate authorities."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
'THREE: are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage and approval as.provided by law.
