AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 -2 OF ARTICLE 1 OF CHAPTER 8
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 8 -2 of Article 1 of Chapter 8 of the Municipal Code
ONE: of the Village of Deerfield, as amended, be and the same is
further amended by deleting subsection 8- 2(a)(1) and substituting
in lieu thereof the following:
"(a)(1) The rules and regulations of the National Fire
Protection Association is contained in the Code as the
National Electric Code of 1981 and as approved by the
American Standards Association and as last published."
SECTION The Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in
TWO: pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
THREE: are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
