AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore
held a public hearing upon the Petition of First Federal Savings and Loan
Association of Wilmette for the classification of certain real estate located
within the Village, and hereinafter described, in the C -1 Village Center
District, and to authorize the development and use of said real estate as a
Special Use for a Drive -In Savings and Loan Facility in accordance with
Exhibits presented to the Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof
and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering
the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact with respect to amending
the Zoning Map to include the Subject Property in the C -1 Village Center Dis-
trict and as to the use 'of said real estate in accordance with the terms of
said Special Use and Exhibits presented to the Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the
classification of said real estate in the manner aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield included and made
ONE: a part of the Village Zoning Ordinance passed April 17, 1978, as
amended, is hereby further amended by zoning and classifying the
property described in -Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, to
the C -1 Village Center District.
SECTION The reclassification of.said real estate to the C -1 Village
TWO: Center District as requested is subject to the subsequent adop-
tion of an Ordinance authorizing a Special Use of the subject
premises as a Drive -In Savings and Loan Facility.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FIVE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
