AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12 -18 OF ARTICLE 3 OF CHAPTER 12
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 12 -18 entitled "Residential waste collection;
ONE: collection rates" of Article 3 of Chapter 12 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the
same is further amended by deleting subsection (d) thereof in its entirety and
substituting in lieu thereof the,following:
"(d) The rates for collection of said residential
waste shall be $3.86 per month for once a week service
and $7.89 per month for twice a week service, effective
May 1, 1981. The billing for said residential waste
collection shall be made quarterly for the services
performed during the preceding quarter. If the bill
for residential waste collection is not paid by the
first day of the month following the billing period
for which it is rendered, an additional ten percent
(10 %) shall be paid as a service charge for said late
payment."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
THREE: are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
