AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 16
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BY AMENDING SECTION 16 -17(a)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article I of Chapter 16 of the Municipal Code of the Village
ONE: of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is hereby
further amended by deleting Section 16 -17(a) and substituting in
lieu thereof, the following:
"(a) A combination of storage and controlled release
of storm water runoff shall be required for all
commercial- industrial developments of one acre or more
in area, for all multiple - family residential develop-
ments of two or more acres in area, and for all single -
family developments of five acres or more in area. In
the case of multiple - family residential developments,
commercial and industrial developments, the area limi-
tations contained herein shall not apply but storage
and controlled release of storm water runoff shall be
required when the development is located within 200
feet of an existing storm sewer or when the development
results from a change in use, a change in zoning
classification or the granting of a special use."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
TWO: are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
