AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23 -5 OF CHAPTER 23 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 23 -5 entitled "Connection with Water Main; Permit;
ONE: Fees; Charges" of Chapter 23 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is further
amended by deleting subsections (a) , (b) and (c) in their entirety and
substituting in lieu thereof the following:

Charges shall be made only for materials and services
actually furnished by the Village of Deerfield.

(b) Fixture Fee: The fee for inspection and tests of
plumbing fixtures and plumbing' shall be Two Dollars
($2.00) per fixture for each new plumbing fixture
installation or replacement in any new or existing
buildings, including fixtures roughed in for fixture
use. A minimum fee of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) shall
be charged for inspection of plumbing.
(c) Water Usage During Construction Period: There shall
be a minimum charge of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) for
water used during any construction of single and two -
family residences, building or structures in which the
service is not metered. All other construction shall
be metered and a temporary water meter hook -up of
Twenty Dollars ($20.00) shall be made."
