O-81-22I ORDINANCE NO. 0 -81 -22 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975 Published in pamphlet form this 23rd day of March , 1981, by the President and Board of Trustees of Deerfield. 3 I I ORDINANCE NO. 0 -81 -22 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That Section 10 -1 entitled "Adoption of Fire Prevention Code; ONE: exceptions" of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is further amended by adding subsection (c) thereto as follows: "(c) The provisions of said Code shall apply only to that. portion of the Village of Deerfield lying within the corporate limits of Northbrook Rural Fire Protection District and within said area said Code shall be enforced by the Fire Chief of said District who is hererby appointed Fire Marshal of the Village of Deerfield to be compensated at the rate of One Dollar ($1.00) annually." SECTION That Section 10 -4, Chapter 10 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield TWO: of 1975, as amended, entitled "Deerfield- Bannockburn Fire Protec- tion District and Northbrook Rural Fire Protection District; enforcement" be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordi- THREE: nance in pamphlet form. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and FOUR: after its passage and approval, as provided by law, but only after the effective date of the adoption by the Deerfield - Bannockburn Fire Protection District of a Fire Prevention Code applying to all those portions of the Village of Deerfield lying within the corporate limits of the Deerfield - Bannockburn Fire Protection District.
