ORDINANCE NO. 0 -80 -35
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore
held a public hearing upon the Petition of Deerfield Senior Housing Corpora-
tion, for the classification of certain real estate located within the Village,
pursuant to the conditions contained in a Special Use - Commercial Planned
Unit Development - Senior Citizen Housing, and hereinafter described in the
C -1 Village Center District and to authorize the development and use of said
real estate in accordance with the terms of said Special Use - Commercial
Planned Unit Development - Senior Citizen Housing and Exhibits attached thereto
and made a part thereof; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof
and was,in all respects,held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering
the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact recommending that the Zon-
ing Map be amended to include the Subject Property in the C -1 Village Center
District and that the use of said real estate in accordance with the terms of
said Special Use - Commercial Planned Unit Development - Senior Citizen Housing
and Exhibits attached thereto and made a part thereof, be approved and author-
ized; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the
classification of said real estate as recommended by the Plan Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield included and made
ONE: a part of the Village Zoning Ordinance passed April 17, 1978, as
amended, is hereby further amended by zoning and classifying the
property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, to
the C -1 Village Center District in accordance with the terms of said Special
Use - Commercial Planned Unit Development - Senior Citizen Housing and Exhibits
attached thereto and made a part thereof.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
THREE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
