AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A SPECIAL USE TO PERMIT THE
OPERATION OF A DAY -CARE FACILITY AT THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Deerfield have
previously adopted an ordinance approving a Special Use for the First Presby-
terian Church permitting the use of said structure for a church in the R -5
Multiple Family District established by the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner, First Presbyterian Church has requested an amend-
ment to said Special Use to permit the establishment of a day -care facility on
said premises, the enrollment of which is not to exceed forty -eight (48)
children per session; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore
held a public hearing on the application of the First Presbyterian Church to
authorize the amended Special Use and occupancy of the First Presbyterian
Church, Deerfield, Illinois, and hereinafter described, to permit said day -care
facility under and pursuant to the provisions of Articles 4.5-3,6b-'and 13.11
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof
and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering
the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact and recommended that said
amended Special Use of said real estate be approved and authorized subject to
certain conditions and restrictions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings and recommendations of the Plan Commission are
ONE: concurred in and adopted as the findings of the President and
Board of Trustees and the amended Special Use of the real estate
legally described below to include a day -care facility, be and the same is
hereby authorized and approved
Lot three (3) in Block two (2) in Town of Deerfield,
in the South West Quarter of Section 28, Township 43
North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Lake County, Illinois
SECTION That the-approval and authorization of said amended Special Use
TWO: hereby given is subject to the requirements that all use, con-
struction and development shall be in accordance with all plans
and representations submitted and made by Petitioner to the Plan Commission

and President and Board of Trustees, is subject to compliance by Petitioner
with all other applicable provisions of the zoning Ordinance and all other
applicable ordinances of the Village of Deerfield, and is specifically subject
to the requirement that the day -care facility enrollment shall not exceed
forty -eight (48) children per session and is further subject to the receipt by
Petitioner of all other required govermental approvals, including the license
required by the State of Illinois.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said amended Special Use
THREE: hereby given is subject to the requirement that this Ordinance
shall be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake
County, Illinois, and all fees of such recordation and expenses incurred
therefor shall be paid by the Petitioner.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordi-
FOUR: nance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FIVE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
