AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19 -36 OF ARTICLE 3 OF CHAPTER 19
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 19 -36 entitled "Restoring surface" of Article 3 of
ONE: Chapter 19 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of
1975, as amended, be and the same is further amended by deleting
subsection (c) thereof in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the
following:
"(c) In addition, a nonrefundable permit and inspec-
tion fee in the amount of $30.00 and a minimum deposit
in the amount of $500.00 shall be paid by such persons
to insure proper completion of such restoration.
Street openings in excess of four feet by four feet
shall require an additional deposit of $30.00 per
square foot. Return of the street opening deposit
shall be governed by the Street Opening Deposit
Agreement executed at the time the permit is issued."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordi-
TWO: nance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
THREE: are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
