WHEREAS, the orderly growth and development of that portion of the
Village of Deerfield abutting the north side of Lake -Cook Road and bordered
on the east by Pine Street and on the west by Wilmot Road has been the con-
cern of the corporate authorities for many years; and
WHEREAS, in the interest of promoting said developmental goals and
furthering traffic safety, the Village has expressed its opposition to
additional access to Lake -Cook Road from those properties within the
above - described area,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND
COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section That the corporate authorities of the Village of Deerfield
One: hereby reaffirm their opposition to additional direct
vehicular access to Lake -Cook Road from properties
bordering said Lake -Cook Road on the north in an area
between Pine Street on the east and Wilmot Road on the west.
Section That certified copies of the Resolution be delivered to
Two: the Chairman of the Plan Commission of the Village of
Deerfield and to the Chairman of the Lake County Board
of Supervisors.

and acting Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook
Counties, State of Illinois, and that the foregoing Resolution is
a true and correct copy of the Resolution passed by the President
and Board of Trustees of the said Village at a regular meeting there-
of held on the 15th day of May, 1978, and now in full force and effect,
all as appears on the records and files of my office.
