AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, SECTIONS 2 -51 AND 2 -61
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT,ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 2 -51 entitled "Clerk's compensation" of
ONE: Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code of the Village.of
Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be deleted in its
entirety and substituted in lieu thereof the following:
"The Clerk shall receive an annual salary of $5,000 and thereafter
the Clerk's salary shall be as determined by the Board, provided
that said salary shall not be increased or diminished so as to
take effect during the term for which the person then holding the
office of Clerk was elected."
