AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 -143 OF CHAPTER 22
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22 -143 "Time of payment; license year" of Chapter
ONE: 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be
and the same is hereby further amended by deleting said Section
in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Sec. 22 -143. Time of payment; license year.
Such license fee or tax under this Article shall
be due and payable annually on or before the first day
of January of each year, and the license shall be for
one (1) year; provided that if the license is issued
for a period of six (6) months or less, the fee to be
paid shall be one -half (1/2) of the annual fee."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here -
THREE: with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FOUR: and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.
